Opening your account
Anyone can join Equip Super, and you can join online in just minutes. Once you’ve joined, we’ll email your new member number so you can start making contributions straight away and get your super off to a flying start.
If you’re joining through your employer
If your employer is a participating employer and has chosen Equip Super as their default super fund, they’ll usually create your account for you automatically if you want to join. You can check with your payroll department to make sure they’ve set you up with an Equip Super account.
Please do not use the online join facility if your employer will create your account, as you’ll miss out on any default cover you may be eligible for, and you’ll need to go through underwriting to receive cover.
