Paying employer contributions to Equip

If you have an employee who has picked Equip as their designated super fund, making contributions for this employee is very easy.

We accept any contributions through a clearing house. Using a clearing house saves you time, money and the automation means that there are generally fewer errors.

Chances are that you may already be using a clearing house, above all if you are currently paying super contributions online for your employees.

If you're unsure, please contact your current payroll service provider.

My company is already using a clearing house  (such as ADP, ClickSuper, Superannuation Clearing House, etc.)

To make a contribution, all you need is your employees Equip member number, and Equip's unique superannuation identifier (USI) 33 813 823 017 000.

Then use your existing clearing house's web based facility to make online payments, and the payment and information will be sent to your employee's Equip account. Most clearing houses can distribute money to a large number of funds at once, including your company's existing default super fund -- so this shouldn't create any extra work for you at all.

My company doesn't have a clearing house

If your company is not yet using a clearing house and employs fewer than 20 staff, you can use the Small Business Superannuation Clearing House provided by the ATO for free for small employers to make employer contributions. To register, go here
