IT O365 Application Developer

We are searching for an IT O365 Application Developer to join our IT team.

The key activities of the role will be:

  • ICT Operations – Application Development, Management and Continuous Improvement: Equipsuper implemented SharePoint Online in Jun’19.  The IT O365 Application Developer will be critical to the effective adoption and continuous improvements across the business.  Key result area will include the delivery of workflows with cross functional collaboration being paramount.  
  • Regulatory Environment: As with all regulated financial institutions, Equipsuper is subject to policies and guidance from APRA, Australia’s prudential regulator. APRA is not prescriptive in respect of IT environments, however it has issued a number of guidance documents that influence regulated entities’ IT strategies.
  • Project Implementation: Liaison between project teams, IT and outsourced providers (as needed) to ensure the timely and effective implementation of project plans.

Head of Advice

Equipsuper and Catholic Super are looking for a Head of Advice to work across both superannuation funds in the Trustee Office.

This Position is Responsible for:

  • Development of the Strategic Management Plan for the Financial Advice and Planning Business
  • Responsibility for the Strategic Plan to manage the 2 Funds, including Operational and Developmental activities of bringing to 2 Funds into a clear and complimentary FPB
  • Responsibility for the end to end member experience in respect of financial planning services
  • Ensuring the Growth and retention of the existing membership and building trust in the Financial Planning Business (FPB)
  • In association with the Strategic and IT Functions, Develop, Implement and Manage the Technology that will ensure clear end to end performance of the Financial Advice elements that enhance both the Customer and Advisors experience
  • Increasing member usage of on-line tools that assist all aspects of financial planning
  • Advising on and developing tools and Processes that support the efficiency and effectiveness of the FPB
  • Co-ordinating and managing the models, systems and people issues within the FPB
  • Manage the Budget within agreed parameters
  • Ensure the Ethical and Fiduciary processes are ingrained in all activities of Planners and Advisors
  • Senior Management reference for all matters pertaining to the FPB
  • All member contact on financial planning/advice matters (Conversion of inactive or non-contributing members to contributing members

The ideal candidate will have an in-depth understanding and experience in Financial Planning and Funds Management industry (including regulatory policies), strong understanding of Superannuation and SMSF’s, the ability to manage and lead teams (including in regional locations throughout Australia), and possess a relevant degree, CFP and/or a Diploma of Financial Planning and be RG146 compliant.

Para Planner

Equip is looking for a Para Planner to join our busy Para Planning team.

The key focus of the role is to prepare high quality Statements of Advice in Superannuation, Retirement, Defined Benefit, Centrelink, Insurance, Estate Planning and Investments.

The ideal candidate will posses the following:

 Minimum 3 years of experience in a paraplanning role

• DFP qualifications (RG146 compliant)

• Exposure to XPLAN software is preferable

• Extensive knowledge of legislative and compliance requirements

• Strong analytical skills required as the role involves Defined Benefit calculations

• Experience of preparing complex strategies is advantageous

• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
